March 28th 2009 Set in the beautiful, traffic-free environment of Nelson's Founders Heritage Park, MarchFest is Nelson's hip harvest hop festival celebrating craft beers, regional wines, slow food and eclectic music. MarchFest celebrates Nelson‚s craft brewing tradition, and will feature previously unavailable festival beers created by local brewers especially for the event. These are 'Fat Lip' (Founders Organic Brewery, Nelson), 'In the Interest of Science' (The Golden Bear, Mapua). 'Monkey's Uncle Lager' (Monkey Wizard Brewery, Riwaka). 'Easter Bunny' (The Mussel Inn, Onekaka), 'Jose‚s Cerveza Ambar' (Tasman Brewing, Richmond) and Marchfest Ale (Townshend's Brewery,, Moutere).
